Elk Rapids Golf Club has been a beloved part of the Northern Michigan community for a century and their 100th anniversary deserved a celebration that honored their legacy with intention and elegance.

I partnered closely with the club’s Board of Directors from the early stages of planning through final execution. Together, we crafted a centennial celebration that reflected the club’s history, engaged the community, and elevated the guest experience. From developing the event’s visual identity to overseeing logistics and signage, my role blended creative direction and hands-on project management.

We began by creating a brand identity for the event, one that felt timeless, classic, and rooted in tradition. The golf course designed a custom 100th anniversary logo and I built a visual system that extended across print and digital event materials, signage, and menus.

Alongside the Board, I helped map out the guest flow, designed the visual experience for the venue, and worked with local vendors and printers to bring every detail to life. Branded elements included a welcome banner, directional signs, event programs, and historical displays that told the story of the club’s founding.

The result was a celebration that was not only beautiful and organized, but deeply meaningful to the members and families who have called this course home for generations.

What made this project so meaningful wasn’t just the creative scope, it was the chance to be part of something truly special for the community I call home. From the very first planning conversations to the final signage being placed, I was honored to help shape a celebration that reflected 100 years of history, tradition, and connection.

Seeing the event come to life and watching people walk through the space, engage with the visuals, and feel the pride behind it all, was deeply rewarding. This wasn’t just a design project; it was a legacy moment, and I’m grateful I got to help bring it to life.
