Zonta Club of Traverse City is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering women through service and advocacy. Their existing website had grown outdated, with a layout that made it difficult for members and visitors to find key information.

I was brought in to redesign the entire website, not just visually, but strategically. The goal was to create a clean, accessible, and inspiring online presence that better reflected their mission and made it easier for users to join, donate, or engage with their events and initiatives.

We began by mapping out the most important user journeys for members, prospective members, donors, and community partners. From there, I reorganized the site structure to make navigation intuitive, updated content to be more action-oriented, and applied a fresh visual design that felt both professional and approachable.

The result is a site that’s easy to use, mobile-friendly, and mission-forward, supporting Zonta’s efforts to grow their local impact and improve communication within their membership.

This project reminded me how powerful good design can be in amplifying purpose. From decluttering the homepage to reshaping the membership flow, every change was made with clarity and connection in mind. It was an honor to support an organization doing meaningful work for women in our region.
